A targeted audience must be decided on before designing and developing the app. The research was conducted based on different personas ie. age category, employment, gender diet, etc to determine what the app will or will not have. 

 

Colours and font size used were carefully chosen to suit the demographic the app is designed for ie. active 25 – 45 years old individuals with young families. They are always busy and on the go, they want something quick and easy to use. 

 

Having considered the above characteristics, Sandywiches prototype has fewer steps to choose their food by having pre-made sandwiches and with the option for pick up or delivery. The colours, style, and casual font chosen presents an inviting feel and will appeal to the young demographic.
