A pet shop was chosen for this project, the logo was inspired by our very own pet rabbits Midnight and Spark. Based on my research on similar websites, bright colours were widely used throughout the sites. Pets bring happiness to families and bright colours are associated with happiness and fun. 

 

Midi & Spark’s website colours were derived from the colours of its logo to keep the branding consistent and avoid overwhelming the viewers with too many colours. The visual impact is very important therefore many images were used to display products to enable ease of purchases. 

 

Customers also would like to have fewer steps to process their transaction so minimal clicks from start to finish have been implemented.
